Month long marriage pt2

Seriously.. how busy can one get??

Let's see what has happened. A couple major decisions made which we'll divulge in due time. (Before you jump up and shout, no babies involved!). Lots of ups and downs.. the scariest part, in my feelings for ck. Finding time for each other 'alone' is hard. Far and few in between. Quality time that is.

Work's taking me into uncharted terrain that's terrifying me and at the same time I'm excited and impatient to dive right in.

Stress relief process: Bake.. till I drop. Even when I don't have the time. Just multi-task! Kitchen's getting way too hot with the oven going on strong most days. Sometimes I would bake up to 3 items at a go. Some pictures to make you drool (hopefully.. hehe..)

A variation of coffee and doughnuts

*Initially for my mil's birthday BUT she flew away last minute to KK so..., more for us! =D

Honing my baking and cooking skills as much as I can before I take the leap into my dream of owning a cafe. Sigh.. impatience is going to kill me one day.

A number of people have started their blogs. Welcome the the blogosphere noobs! Who are they? Just check our left clickies. However I must insist you check this blog first. (Hint: It's my mummy)

Here's a glimpse of what you'll see.

Life's tiring. I guess not sleeping well plus all the workload that's piling up from not just work but also church and family contributes to my sluggishness. Someone quick! Invent a sure guaranteed cloning machine. I'll definitely clone one to clean the house. The house.... Our house.. is way too big to clean. It's a workout that I hate! Vacuuming, mopping, wiping, clearing up.. EESH! You might be thinking. Two people. How dirty can it get right? I tell you, with all our unwanted housemateS, it can get really d.i.r.t.y.

Dear readers, I think it's high time we introduce you to our housemateS. The cicak family. Ranging from teeny tiny babies to big-ass ones as fat as two fingers span.

Here's a picture of the freaky cousin that came to visit.

They poop everywhere! Wet and dry ones.. Especially after a rainy night, after indulging on the all you can eat flies buffet they have, it's like as if they go through constipation and poop 'wet'. And who has to cleanup after them? ME! =(

*Word of advice to house buying/renting, check if there are cicak poo poos around. If there are, either be prepared to go to war or just don't buy/rent it. It's alot of work.

That's it! That's all the time I can spare to write. No time to even check so if there's any mistakes grammatically or spelling wise, just tell la... =P

Joel: Here's my updates. =)

Does cicak poison exist or do they only like flies?

Anonymous 6:17 PM

I think.. they just like flies. I've not seen any poison sold in the shops.

I MISS YOU too! *HUGS

Strangely, the cicaks are not commonly found in American homes.

Is that a 'good' or 'bad' thing? ;) For me, it's great! hehe..

But for those that you do see. Are they like what you see here? Are there any differences?

There isn't a "house lizard" that I've encountered of the type we find in Brunei/Msia. The closest we have are the green garden variety that are slightly larger than the house lizards, and those tend to avoid the insides of houses. American houses are very well insulated compared to their Msian/Bruneian counterparts, so that may have something to do with the fact that we seldom see them inside homes.

Who We Are

Two long time good friends who played and worked together for so many years, found love and got married on 30.12.06

Soon, we'll be a family of 3! Due date 13.02.09 but hopefully on 03.02 instead as we will then have another running number pattern with Chel's sis on 03.01 and her mum on 03.03
