Alien no more

We're officially "legally" married! Even after the church wedding, we weren't legal so to speak without this piece of PAPER. It took about 3 weeks or so for it to be done and now, for the best part.

I, Chel, get to be a legal, law-abiding with the right to stay as long as I want and do whatever JOB I can get my hands on without any worries. No worries! Absolutely none at all!

One month

Time really passes you by...

At 1.30pm, just a month ago, we were just Mister and Miss. Today, we celebrate our first month anniversary. The first anniversary as a couple, as husband and wife, til death us do part.. One whole month! The terrible thing is that I now work nights. Meaning, any form of celebration, if there's any ( no pressure here ck! This post is not a hint! ) has to be done a whole new way with a break in between! (7.30 - 9 pm)

Marriage has been amazing. I think we're getting a hang of what being married is all about. The joy and sorrows, worries and expectations, responsibilities and fun that comes with it. Trying to keep marriage "fresh" while trying not to be sucked into a routine of being married and trust me, it can be a challenge most of the time. There's only sooo many NEW ideas one can think of.

One whole month! Happy one month anniversary babe! Or should I really say, Happy one month anniversary to us! *grin*

Mister and Missus

I have to remind myself constantly when I fill in forms that I'm a missus. A Mrs. It's odd though when the form requires you to fill in your name as it appears in the passport. Which means you read it as Mrs Chel Tan when it should be a Mrs Chel K... Mrs Chel Tan?? So should I stick to Ms then?

Maybe I should just legally change my surname instead..

Men have it easy. Before marriage, Mr Clyde K. After marriage, Mr Clyde K. How about becoming a Mr Clyde Tan instead?? *snicker*

The start of a married life..

After all the planning and fiascoes with traditions, we're finally married! Settling in nicely into our new home

and the fact we're called Mr & Mrs now.

Were both sick after the wedding. Clyde first then me. He gave me the flu virus.. The joys of sharing everything!

At least we still have the opportunity to relish on the memories made on our wedding day. Especially with all the photos passed to us by our photographer, Jason. Over 2000+ of them.. I've uploaded all of them in photobucket according to time. Morning, afternoon and night. Easier to sort through rather than a whole big bunch together. We were quite calm before and during the wedding. Taking in the events as they came along. No rush and fuss getting about even with an event filled day. Except for when we got back to the house the day after the wedding.. It stank! From the food leftover from the wedding lunch.

Well, just wanted to shout out a whole bunch of thanks to everyone who made it on the day to witness our wedding ceremony in church and also playing a part in making the whole day an absolute fun day!
